Denton’s Dummest Marathon

Kick off 2026 in true Denton fashion: proudly wearing the shirt for a marathon that absolutely nobody asked for—but everyone will talk about.

This Denton’s Dummest Marathon T-shirt commemorates the legendary 1/1/2026 event, where brave (and slightly unhinged) participants complete 131 laps around the Historic Courthouse. That’s right—no long scenic roads, no elevation changes, just pure, looping mental fortitude.
To keep things interesting (or at least less dizzying), runners switch directions every 5 laps, creating the kind of organized chaos Denton locals cherish.
